CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ADEQUATE TRAFFIC CONTROL IN ORDER TO
KEEP ONE LANE OF TRAFFIC OPEN AT ALL TIMES. A TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN
SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE CIN INSPECTOR PRIOR TO STARTING SITE
WORK.
CONTRACTOR SHALL CALL FOR UTILITY LOCATES, AND SHALL POTHOLE ALONG
THE PROPOSED WORK AREA TO IDENTIFY LOCATION AND DEPTH OF ALL
EXISTING UTILITIES PRIOR TO BEGINNING CONSTRUCTION. THE ENGINEER
SHALL IMMEDIATELY BE NOTIFIED OF ANY DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN THE
FOUND UTILITIES AND THE UTILITIES SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
NOTE:
1. THE MINIMUM VERTICAL CLEARANCE FROM THE EXISTING SANITARY SEWER IS 18
INCHES. THE MINIMUM VERTICAL CLEARANCE FROM GAS, ELECTRIC, TELEPHONE,
AND FIBER OPTIC IS 12 INCHES. IF THE MINIMUM CLEARANCE CANNOT BE
OBTAINED, THE APPLICANT IS TO OBTAIN CITY APPROVAL PRIOR TO
INSTALLATION OF THE FIRE LINE.
2. ALL CONCRETE BLOCKING FOR HORIZONTAL BENDS, TEES, AND VERTICAL BENDS
SHALL BE PER COR STD. PLANS 330.2 AND 330.3.
3. ALL MECHANICAL JOINT FITTINGS AND VALVES SHALL HAVE RESTRAINED GLANDS
EQUAL TO MEGALUG SERIES 1100 OR ROMAC ROMAGRIP.
4. CEMENT CONCRETE CURB RESTORATION SHALL BE PER COR STD. PLAN 101.
