The running slope of a curb ramp cannot exceed 8.33%.
Describe why the proposed improvements cannot meet the existing standards.
The slope of the existing roadway around curb return creates a slope that forces the proposed ADA
ramp running slope to exceed 8.33% even if the ramp is extended beyond the typical 6 feet.
