Re: 13701 SE May Valley Road Patio Construction Mitigation
This memorandum describes the proposed construction mitigation to the extent known at this
time. A contractor has not yet been selected. The contractor may wish to alter some of the
construction mitigation details described below.
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION DATES (BEGIN AND END DATES)
Proposed begin and end dates of construction will be determined by the homeowner in
conjunction with the contractor and are not known at this time. However, demolition of the
structures should occur in the dry season (i.e., summer 2024). Restoration of the stream buffer
(removing invasive species and installing native plants) should occur in the fall of 2024.
HOURS AND DAYS OF OPERATION
Proposed hours and days of operation will be determined by the homeowner in conjunction
with the contractor and are not known at this time. However, it is anticipated that work will
occur Monday through Friday by the contractor. If any work is done by the homeowner, then
work on Saturdays and Sundays may occur.
It is anticipated that work will occur between 8 am and 5 pm.
PROPOSED HAULING/TRANSPORTATION ROUTES
Proposed hauling routes will be determined by the contractor and are not known at this time.
Hauling routes will depend on what is done with the materials (e.g., flagstones); materials may
be disposed of at the transfer station, resold or used by the contractor for another project. For
materials going to the Renton Transfer Station, the haul route would likely be from SE May
Valley Road to Coal Creek Parkway SE (road changes name) to the transfer station.

TRANSPORTATION IMPACTS, EROSION, MUD, NOISE, AND OTHER NOXIOUS

ANY SPECIAL HOURS PROPOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION OR HAULING (I.E.,
WEEKENDS, LATE NIGHTS)
Special hours for construction or hauling will be determined by the homeowner and contractor.
However, it is possible that work could occur on weekends.
