Compliance or corrective action must be completed by 3/23/2022. If voluntary compliance is not achieved, a Criminal Citation MAY be issued. VIOLATION 1: Code Violation Investigation Date 03/08/2022 Violation Note:On March 2, 2022 a report of a patio along the bank of May Creek was received by this office. A site inspection revealed that an unpermitted patio area had been constructed in the critical area and is in violation of the Critical Areas Regulations of the City of Renton. Code Cited:RMC 4-3-050.C Critical Areas Regulations: Exempt, Prohibited and Non-Conforming Activities Code Text:1. Permit Required: a. Development or Alteration: Prior to any development or alteration of a property containing a critical area as defined in subsection B of this Section, entitled Applicability, the owner or designee must obtain a development permit, critical area permit, and/or letter of exemption. No separate critical area permit is required for a development proposal which requires development permits or which has received a letter of exemption. Corrective Action:Immediately contact the Planning Division to determine the course of action necessary to restore the critical area that has been disturbed by the unpermitted patio.
