See also https://rb.gy/lrvxyz PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is requesting an Administrative Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to construct a one-story detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) between the primary single family structure located at 1801 Jones Ave NE (APN 3344500101) and Jones Ave NE. The 21,840 square foot property (0.50 acres) is located west of Jones Ave NE, east of Interstate 405, and approximately halfway between NE 16th St and NE 20th St. The subject parcel is in the Residential-4 (R-4) zone and has a Residential Low Density (RLD) comprehensive land use designation. The applicant is proposing to construct the Cascade Plan (Style C1) from the City’s Permit Ready ADU (PRADU) program approximately 30 feet from the east property line. The Cascade Plan is 650 square feet and includes two (2) bed rooms with one (1) bathroom. Access to the PRADU would be accessible via the existing driveway and the existing driveway and garage would be able to accommodate the required parking for three (3) vehicles. 2 trees are proposed for removal. According to COR Maps, the site is mapped with high landslide hazards and steep slopes within the rear yard area.
