Coordinate work with other trades as required. Determinelocation of underground utilities and perform work in a mannerwhich will avoid possible damage. Coordinate with UtilitiesUnderground Location Center and Owner for locations ofexisting underground utilities, etc. servicing or routed throughthe site.2. Provide protection of all property, persons, work in progress,structures, utilities, walls, walks, curbs and paved surfacesfrom damages incurred arising from this work. The Contractorshall pay for any such damage at no additional cost to theOwner.3. Prior to beginning any construction activities, arrange anon-site pre-construction meeting with Owner's Representativeto discuss and review Tree Protection Measures aroundexisting trees to be retained (if noted).4. During construction, keep pavements, building clean.Protect site and adjacent properties from damage due toconstruction operations, operations by other Contractors/tradesand trespassers. Unfinished and completed work shall beprotected from damage by erosion or trespassing, and propersafeguards shall be erected to protect the Public.5. Staking and Layout: Immediately notify Landscape Architectin writing of any variance between plans and actual site.Landscape Architect has the right to adjust the location ofelements. Verify layout with Landscape Architect prior to anyinstallation work.6. Verify installation conditions as satisfactory to receive work.Do not install any site elements until any unsatisfactoryconditions are corrected. Beginning of work constitutesacceptance of conditions as satisfactory. When conditionsdetrimental to plant growth/contructed elements, areencountered such as rubble fill, adverse conditions, orobstructions, notify Landscape Architect.7. New Landscape Plantings will be watered by a BidderDesign Automatic Irrigation System submitted for approval toOwner's Representative prior to beginning landscapeconstruction.PLANTING NOTES (cont.):texture shall be used as an amendment. Provide textural andnutrient analysis for review and approval. Minimum soilspecifications after amendments shall show a minimum organiccontent of 10% (by weight) and pH shall be between 5.5- 7.0.See BMP T5.13 in WDOE Stormwater Management Manual forWestern Washington.2.
