POND WATER LEVELS PAGE XX EXISTING POND THE EXISTING POND IS APPROXIMATELY 1 . 9 ACRES AND IS LOCATED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RAILROAD SPUR LINE IN PARCELS 2 , 4-A AND 4-B (SEE APPENDIX "A") . THE WATER LEVEL VARIES DURING THE YEAR DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF RAINFALL. INFILRATION TESTS AND GROUNDWATER MONITORING WELLS INDICATE THERE IS VERY LITTLE OUTFLOW FROM THE POND AND POSSIBLY INFLOW DURING WET TIMES OF THE YEAR (SEE FOLLOWING EARTH CONSULTANTS INC. DATA) . THERE IS AN EXISTING 30 INCH CMP LOCATED IN THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF PARCEL 2 AND EXTENDING TO THE RIVER WITH A FLAPGATE AT THE OUTFALL. A DEVELOPED CN VALUE OF i81 WILL BE USED FOR THE UNDISTURBED FOREST AREAS AND 98 FOR THE W IMPERVIOUS AREAS. THE FUTURE TIME OF CONCENTRATION FROM PARCEL 3 TO THE POND IS ESTIMATED TO BE 33 .12 MINUTES. THE EXISTING POND WILL BE RETROFITTED WITH A PUMPED DISCHARGE SYSTEM TO CONTROL THE POND WATER LEVEL. THE PEAK DISCHARGE RATE WILL BE EQUAL TO 50% OF THE EXISTING 2 YEAR/24 HOUR STORM. THE PUMP CONTROL SYSTEM WILL BE SET TO MAINTAIN A POND LEVEL AT ELEVATION 11. THE OUTFALL WILL BE TO THE P-1 CHANNEL JUST UPSTREAM FROM ITS CONFLUENCE WITH THE GREEN RIVER.
