WITNESSETH THAT: WHEREAS, the City engaged the services of the consultant under Engineering Consultant Agreement CAG-13-021, dated January 31, 2013, to provide engineering services necessary for the Sunset Community Plan SSIP—Sunset Terrace Regional Stormwater Facility Project; and WHEREAS, the City desires to complete the work associated with the Sunset Community Plan SSIP— Harrington Avenue NE Green Connections Project, and the City does not have sufficient qualified engineering employees to perform the work within a reasonable time; and WHEREAS, the City and consultant have determined that additional services are required to complete the work items listed in Exhibit A Scope of Services under the original contract CAG-13-021, dated January 31, 2013; NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Section VIII Extra Work of the Master Agreement CAG-13-021, dated January 31, 2013, it is mutually agreed upon that Engineering Consultant Agreement CAG-13- 021, is amended to include the work and associated budget as follows: 1. The Scope of Work (Section I of the Master Agreement CAG-13-021) is modified to include the additional services on the attached Exhibit A. 2. The Payment (Section VI of the Master Agreement CAG-13-021) is modified to include payment for the additional wo,k items defined in Exhibit B. The revised contract total payable for work on this contract addendum is increased from $179,003.00,to 191,620.00, making a difference of $12,617.00. The maximum amount payable for the additional work items defined in Exhibit B of this contract addendum is $12,617.00, without prior authorization from the City. CONSULTANT will extend project administrative services for subconsultant management and quality assurance for the additional landscape architecture services. TASK 9.—LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE -NEW TASK 9A DESIGN &CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS This task supplements Task 7 to constructed Final construction documents, specifications and cost estimating with landscape architecture services. • Attend three(3) design team meetings regarding planting design of the rain gardens. • Prepare design drawings and details for 30%, 60%,90%and 100%submittals.Submittals will include planting.Subsequent submittals after 30%will incorporate further design detail development, permitting agency comments, and client comments. • The 30%submittal will include: planting plan, plant schedule, and plant details.A 30% cost estimate will be provided.Special provisions will not be prepared for this submittal • The 60%submittal will include: planting plan, plant schedule, plant details, and soil preparation details.A 60%cost estimate will be provided. Information adequate for permit submittal.General special provisions to standard specifications will be provided. • The 90%submittal will include: planting plan, plant schedule, plant details, and soil preparation details.A 90%cost estimate will be provided.Special provisions to standard specifications will be provided. • 100%submittal will be the final, bid-ready construction documents and will not be further revised prior to bid. Responses will be provided in writing. • Review of bidder-proposed substitution requests and submittals. • Prepare up to one(1) addendum that may be required to clarify the bid documents.
