Dear Dustin:
Per our team and City of Renton conference call on 13 January 2015 and City of Renton direction in email dated
14 January 2015, Hough Beck & Baird Inc. (HBB) is providing the following scope and fee proposal for additional
irrigation design services. We understand that only irrigation plan drawings, details, and cost estimate will be
prepared for the 90% submittal date on 21 January 2015, and that irrigation special provisions will be submitted
separately for 90% review by the City of Renton.
TASK 1 PROJECT MANAGEMENT (additional irrigation scope)
1.1 Conduct one (1) quality control review for irrigation drawings and for special provisions. one for
each submittal listed below.
TASK 2 DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS (additional irrigation scope)
2.2.1 The 90% submittal will include: irrigation plan, irrigation schedule, irrigation details, and irrigation
cost estimate. Special provisions to standard specifications will be provided.
2.2.2 100% submittal will be the final, bid-ready irrigation construction documents, incorporating city
review comments from 90%.
EXPENSES: Printing for quality control review and signing. _
In consideration of the above services, we are proposing the following estimated fee (see Exhibit A):
TASK 1. Project Management $503.36
TASK 2. Design & Construction Documents $2,413.36
Expenses $30.00
Total HBB Cost of Services: $2,946.72 _
The above fee is an estimate of how we expect to allocate our time. We reserve the right to move time between
tasks as needed to accomplish the overall goals of the project. Bid alternates, bid additives, or subsequent re-
packaging of the project into separate phases is not included. _
