Hello Jill,
Apologies for the delay in responding. Unexpected travel messed up my schedule.
I had a couple of questions about this Lot combination doc.
1. The form asks for a drawing of the existing and combined parcel. I have attached a survey
doc that shows the combined new lot. Will that suffice ?
2. There is a need to notarize the completed papers – there is no section for the notary to sign.
Is there a different form or should I just have them sign & stamp at the bottom of the page.

I suggest you reach out to Jill Ding, the Planner who reviewed the application for building permit
(B20005590). You will need to work with her if you will be submitting a boundary line adjustment for the
two parcels.

I want to remind you of your time limit. While the building permit application received an approval for
an extension to 12/4/2024 it was the 3rd and final extension approval. Any changes to the previously

approved plans might need to be resubmitted for review. The change may also impact your civil permit
that must be issued prior to the building permit.
Jill is aware of that you are now looking to combine parcels and I suggest you reach out to her as soon as

Not having the address correctly registered will prolong confusion.
Many GIS & GPS systems use it. System users will need the parcel numbers, delivery drivers and
contractors will be lost and need to call for me to talk them to the location.
The concept of wait for completion to assign the address no longer works.

We have acquired the land and the project, and have restarted the work. We anticipate filing the
necessary permit documents in the next month or so.
I believe there are 2 items that need to be completed –

Your email was forwarded to me as I assign addresses in the City of Renton. It is my understanding that
you were concerned that PSE and/or other utilities will not commence work on the site as the address of
117 Wells Ave S is not in King County’s Parcel Viewer platform. From the City’s records, it appears the
address of 117 Wells Ave S was preliminarily assigned by my predecessor in anticipation of the project.
Since the project was not completed, the address assignment was not finalized and necessary agencies
such as King County were not notified. We do not generally finalize addresses on vacant land. It is not
uncommon that an address is given to PSE by the contractor/applicant prior to being finalized. They may
use the address of 117 Wells Ave S even if it is not reflected on King County’s Parcel Viewer. If they have
a question, generally they reach out to me to confirm. If you are currently having or in the future have
issues getting them to accept the address of 117 Wells Ave S for your project, please feel free to reach
out to me and/or give them my email address to confirm.
