We are still waiting to hear back from Eric on whether the power source is direct buried or in conduit. I can follow up with him today.
Has the construction team decided whether they would like to use the existing foundation or install a new foundation prior to the switchover?
* Will the new cabinet fit on the existing foundation? Comparing the existing foundation to the current City standard, the existing foundation is sufficient to accommodate the new service
cabinet. During the field meeting, the contractor mentioned it may be better constructability wise to install a new foundation and set the new cabinet before removing the existing.
This would simplify the switchover but does have added costs. Let us know if you have a preference on which option to move forward with and we can update the plans accordingly, as needed.

I have consolidated your questions below and provided our responses. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
* Have you confirmed that the existing wiring and connections is acceptable for the new cabinet? Yes, based on the as-built information and what Eric Cutshall has provided us, the existing
wiring will be compatible with the new service.
* Does the proposed component schedule match what is currently in the cabinet for connections? That is correct, we have directed the electrical contractor to match the breakers and circuitry
of the existing cabinet with the proposed to ensure all existing lights are maintained on the same circuits.
* Will the new cabinet fit on the existing foundation? Comparing the existing foundation to the current City standard, the existing foundation is sufficient to accommodate the new service
cabinet. During the field meeting, the contractor mentioned it may be better constructability wise to install a new foundation and set the new cabinet before removing the existing.
This would simplify the switchover but does have added costs. Let us know if you have a preference on which option to move forward with and we can update the plans accordingly, as needed.

coordinate directly with Jenny at PSE regarding the wiring and if the existing is able to be maintained or needs to be replaced for the new power connection. We will update our plans

Sorry for the delayed response. I had to schedule a crew to go out and investigate the situation.
The attached map shows all the streetlights (red circles) that are on the service cabinet in question. There are no traffic signals tied to this service and the service conductors are
3/0. The PSE transformer that feeds this service cabinet is about 8’ to the West. This is a very old service cabinet and I have no additional information on the service cabinet other

Hi Eric,
I would like to request additional as-built documentation for the existing illumination system along Sunset Blvd.
We have previously obtained some as-built documents from the City, see attached; however, they did not include specific details regarding the wiring size used for the service power,
which PSE is requesting for the replacement of the existing service. Specifically, we are seeking the information that may be contained in "sheet 5" of the as-built set, or any other
documents that provide these details.
Do you have access to the full 18 sheet as-built set from 1972 or only the sheets previously provided?

This one took a bit to research.
We believe that the lights in question were installed by WSDOT in the Summer of 1969, and both King County & WSDOT online records offered nothing additional beyond the attached ROW plans.
Also attached are the lighting and inner-connect plans for Sunset BLVD NE and Union AVE NE from 1972. The interconnect cable is on the South side of Sunset BLVD and belongs to the City
of Renton Transportation Department. The inner-connect cable is still active and is used for our traffic signal communication. It shares junction boxes with the streetlighting in the
sidewalk.
On NE 12th ST in front of the 2 addresses provided we do not have any streetlighting.

Hi Eric,
We are working on the Towns on 12th project and are in need of some information. Specifically, we were hoping you could provide us with any lighting as-builts you may have for the frontage
of the site located at 3916 & 3926 NE 12th St. Please refer to the vicinity map below for reference.
In addition, we noticed that there is a communication line that runs on the south side of NE Sunset Blvd within the proposed planter strip. However, we couldn't find any information
about it on the GIS website. Can you please provide us with any information you may have related to this?
