"Property,") and covenant and agree as follows regarding annexation into the City of Renton, Washington.
1� Basis for Covenant. This covenant to annex is given as a condition to Grantor(s) being permitted to
connect to sewer and/or water service from the City of Renton ("Grantee") to serve the Property
which, asofthe date ofthis covenant toannex, iolocated outside ofthe city limits ofthe City of
Renton.
2. Parties Bound, This covenant to annex shall be binding on the Grantor(s) and all persons and
entities subsequently acquiring any right, title, orinterest inortothe Property (the "Bound
Pmrties,)and shall beacovenant running with the land.
3. Ec uivalent to SiOnature on Annexation Petition. Aaconsideration for receiving sewer and/or water
service from Grantee, Grantor(s), on behalf of Grantor(s) and the other Bound Parties, hereby agree
that this covenant to annex constitutes the legal equivalent of Grantor(s)' and the other Bound
Parties' signatures on a petition to annex the Property into the City of Renton at such time as,
pursuant to the RCW 35A.14.120 direct petition method of annexation, the Property, together with
such other adjoining orcontiguous area asthe City/Grantee orother petitioners may determine, is
not less than sixty percent in value of the property for which annexation is petitioned.
4. Corn Ilance with Utilitv Renuir ments. Grontor(s),mnbehalf ofGrantor(s)and the other Bound
Parties, agree to comply with all the requirements of law and regulation regarding the connection
toGrantee's sewer and/or water service.
