Hi Joe,
Attached please find the bond to sign and forward to the City of Renton with the POA and the COI. The invoice will follow later.
The initial premium charge for the $44,005.26 performance bond will be $660 ($44,005 @ 1.5%). The initial premium is fully earned and covers up to one year for the bond to be released
in writing by the obligee. Thereafter, an annual renewal premium equal to the initial premium will be due until the bond has been released in writing by the obligee. Renewal premiums
are subject to pro rata refunds. The minimum earned premium for any annual renewal period is $100. The performance bond premium includes one year of maintenance for the improvements
covered by the performance bond. A maintenance guarantee of longer than one year will result in an additional premium charge at the time of maintenance bond issuance.
The bond cannot be cancelled for any reason. The bond can only be released by the obligee and it is the developer's sole responsibility to obtain written release of the bond from the
obligee. Sale of the development property does not release the bond or release the developer from responsibility for completing the bonded improvements.
