CONSTRUCTION MITIGATION DESCRIPTION
DALPAY SHORT PLAT
October 20, 2016
Narrative
• Proposed construction dates (begin and end dates)
Response: Construction is anticipated to start in the spring of 2017 and will likely be completed by
fall of 2017.
• Hours and days of operation
Response: Construction hours and days of operation will be as allowed by the City of Renton. It is
anticipated that construction will only occur between the hours of 7am and 5pm, Monday through
Friday.
• Proposed hauling/transportation routes
Response: The proposed haul route is NE 19th Street to Union Avenue NE. Then SR-900 to I-405.
• Measures to be implemented to minimize dust, traffic and transportation impacts, erosion, mud,
noise, and other noxious characteristics
Response: A water truck will be used to minimize dust during construction. Other than material
deliveries to the site, we do not anticipate any traffic impacts since there is no proposed construction
offsite or within the existing roadways. Silt fence, straw mulch, plastic covering, and hydroseeding
will all be used to minimize erosion. A temporary construction entrance will be installed to minimize
tracking of mud offsite. Noise will be limited to the construction hours allowed by City code.
• Any special hours proposed for construction or hauling (i.e. weekends, late nights)
Response: None that we are currently aware of.
• Preliminary traffic control plan
Response: As noted above, there is no proposed construction offsite or within existing public
roadways. Therefore, there is no need for a traffic control plan.
