VERIFICATION EXISTING CONDITIONS IN THE FIELD, AND COORDINATION
OF ALL DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. THIS INCLUDES COORDINATING THE
WORK OF ALL SUBCONTRACTORS, PREPARATION OF SHOP DRAWINGS,
VERIFYING CURRENT LICENSES, INSURANCES AND BONDS.
THE SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPARING
SOLUTIONS AND SHOP DRAWINGS, VERIFYING COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL
AUTHORITIES AND JURISDICTION, COMPLIANCE WITH CURRENT CODES,
REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS.
ALL DEFERRED SUBMITTALS (MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING,
FIRE SPRINKLERS AND SUCH) SHALL BE INSTALLED AFTER ALL REQUIRED
PERMITS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION.
ELECTRICAL:
1.ELECTRICAL WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED BY A LICENSED COMMERCIAL
ELECTRICIAN. THE WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED AS DESIGN-BUILD, WITH THE GC
SUBMITTING THE BID AND OBTAINING ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS THAT COORDINATES
WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL SET, AND COMPLIES WITH ALL CODES AND REGULATIONS.
2.THE GC'S ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUBMITTING
APPLICATION AND SECURING ALL REQUIRED ELECTRICAL PERMITS.
MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING:
1. MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED AS
DESIGN-BUILD, WITH THE GC SUBMITTING THE BID AND DRAWINGS THAT COORDINATE
WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL SET, AND COMPLIES WITH ALL CODES, REGULATIONS AND
REQUIREMENTS.
2. THE GC'S MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL
BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATION AND SECURING ALL REQUIRED
MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING PERMITS.
FIRE PROTECTION AND ALARM:
1. THE FIRE PROTECTION AND ALARM WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED
BY A LICENSED SUBCONTRACTOR, AS A DESIGN-BUILD. DRAWINGS
SHALL BE PREPARED BY THE SUBCONTRACTOR, COORDINATED WITH THE
ARCHITECTURAL SET AND SUBMITTED WITH APPLICATIONS FOR FIRE
PREVENTION/PROTECTION PERMITS

J. THE FLOORS MAY BE OCCUPIED DURING CONSTRUCTION. THE GC SHALL PROTECT
ALL THE FLOORS MAY BE OCCUPIED DURING CONSTRUCTION. THE GC SHALL PROTECT ALL
PERSONNEL, PASSERSBY OR VISITORS TO THE SITE FROM HARM AND INJURY. BARRIERS
SHALL BE INSTALLED AS REQUIRED TO PROTECT EQUIPMENT INSTALLED DURING
CONSTRUCTION, CAREFULLY MAINTAIN AND PROTECT MONUMENTS, BENCH MARKS AND
THEIR REFERENCE POINT FROM BEING DESTROYED OR DISTURBED; REPLACE AS REQUIRED.
K. EXISTING WORK DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF WORK DONE UNDER THIS
CONTRACT SHALL EXISTING WORK DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF WORK DONE
UNDER THIS CONTRACT SHALL BE REPAIRED TO ORIGINAL CONDITION AND
FINISHED TO MATCH ADJACENT FINISHES, SUBJECT TO ARCHITECT'S
APPROVAL, AND AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE OWNER. ALL
REPLACEMENT MATERIALS REQUIRED TO MATCH EXISTING MATERIALS SHALL
DO SO WITH RESPECT TO TYPE, PATTERN, TEXTURE, SIZE, SHAPE, COLOR
AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION INSOFAR AS PRACTICABLE, AND SHALL BE
APPROVED BY THE ARCHITECT AND OWNER PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
L. MATERIALS, ARTICLES, DEVICES AND PRODUCTS ARE SPECIFIED IN THE
DOCUMENTS BY MATERIALS, ARTICLES, DEVICES AND PRODUCTS ARE
SPECIFIED IN THE DOCUMENTS BY LISTING ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS
OR PRODUCTS, BY REQUIRING COMPLIANCE WITH REFERENCED STANDARDS,

SELECT ANY PRODUCT NAMED. FOR THOSE SPECIFIED BY REFERENCE

MEETING OR EXCEEDING SPECIFIED CRITERIA. FOR APPROVAL OF AN ITEM

STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS WILL REQUIRE OPENING OF SOME EXISTING WALLS,
CEILINGS OR FLOOR CAVITIES. THE GC SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE
REPAIR OF THESE OPENINGS TO MATCH EXISTING, EXCEPT WHERE NOTED
OTHERWISE, FILL ALL HOLES AND VOIDS IN FLOORS WALLS AND CEILINGS
WHICH RESULT FROM INSTALLATION OF WORK, AND REMOVAL OF EXISTING
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED BY THIS CONTRACT. PATCHED AREAS
SHALL MATCH THE MATERIALS, FINISHES, AND LEVELS ADJACENT, OR SHALL
BE PUT IN THE PROPER CONDITION TO RECEIVE THE FINISH INDICATED.
N.OPENINGS REQUIRED FOR NEW WORK THAT PENETRATES EXISTING
STRUCTURE SHALL BE OPENINGS REQUIRED FOR NEW WORK THAT
