There are two expiring seats (12/31/19)on the Human Services Advisory Committee;we are
recommending the reappointment (with terms expiring 12/31/22)to the HSAC,Teresa
Kenney and Joanie Howe.
Teresa Kenney is currently serving as the vice-chair on the committee and has been an
active member on the HSAC for two terms and remains a vital,active participant on the
Human Services Advisory Committee.
Joanie Howe has served two terms and is a strong contributor to the Human Services
Advisory Committee.She also attends numerous city events each year representing the
HSAC.Her commitment to the community is an asset to the Committee,staff,and citizens of
Renton.
Each have requested to be extended and were approved by majority vote by HSAC.
We feel very fortunate that Teresa and Joanie are willing to volunteer their time in this
capacity;they will continue to be valuable advisory proponents for the city’s Human Services
programming efforts.
