including the vault, duplex pumps, pump controls, force main and gravity main approximately 40
feet from an existing lift station and 196 feet from the Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM) of the
Cedar River. The new lift station will replace the existing lift station 4-45. The existing lift station
shall be in operation during the construction and until the new lift station if fully operational. Once
the new station is fully operational
the old lift station would be shut down.

No. 3568 which, among other things vested the subject site to 2002 Industrial Heavy (IH)
zoning. The project is located in Reach A of the Cedar River, Shoreline High Intensity overlay.
The subject site would be considered a non -conforming site pursuant to the Shoreline
Master Program, however the subject project would not result in an increase in impervious
service area or a change in building footprint. Therefore no site changes are required.
Furthermore, the applicant has indicated that the project would not result in any changes to
vegetation.

System and/or for the following reason(s):
Maintenance and Repair: Normal maintenance or repair of existing structures or
developments, including damage by accident, fire or elements:
a. "Normal maintenance" includes those usual acts to prevent a decline, lapse, or
cessation from a lawfully established condition.
b. "Normal repair" means to restore a development to a state comparable to its
original condition, including but not limited to its size, shape, configuration,
location and external appearance, within a reasonable period after decay or partial
destruction, except where repair causes substantial adverse effects to the
shoreline resource or environment.

The lot size is 6618761 sq ft
Shoreline Exemption
Zoning designation is Urban Center north 2
No Special site features
Sandy silt loam is the soil type.
Drainage to Lake Washington from storm water system to multiple outfalls to Lake
Washington
The project is in the 200ft Shoreline zone.
Excavation is less than 500 cubic yards
No new increase in impervious service.
No change to any vegetation.
Project Description
Boeing proposes a new sanitary sewer lift station including the vault, duplex pumps, pump controls, force main,
and gravity main. The new lift station shall replace the existing lift station 4-45 and installed at a new location.
It will provide new 4" sanitary piping to connect the new lift station to the existing sanitary force main
at the inlet of the main meter vault. The existing lift station shall be in operation during the construction.
The trench will be 155 linear feet.
The new sanitary lift station shall be installed and fully operational before shutting down the existing lift station
to complete the work inside the existing vault. The existing vault shall be cleaned,
new 8" diameter sewer connection piping installed inside the vault and the vault shall be in -filled with gravel,
and paved to match existing
The connection of the new 4" diameter sewer piping to the existing piping at the sanitary force main meter vault
Shall be completed during the same shutdown as mention above. Contractor will notify proper utilities before starting
work and provide temporary erosion control measures
