EE97370 CASE# 24-7427 OF COLLISION 07/16/24 05:41 OF CbLLI510N NARRATIVE H/R parked PCSO Stolen Case Number 24-19800752 CC On 7/16/2024 at about 0915 hours within the city limits of Renton/King/Wa I was dispatched to 2717 Aberdeen Ave NE for a hit and run crash. I contacted the victim who told that their Tesla that was parking in front of their house had the alarm go off at about 0541 hours. Later when they walked out to the car they noticed fresh damage and the car had been moved from the impact of another vehicle. They provided me with Telsa camera footage that showed a Hyundai Santa Fe that was traveling south on Aberdeen crash into their parked car, pull around the car and stop. The male driver dressed in black with long dreads in his hair got out of the Santa Fe and walked around to look at the damage to his car. He returned to his vehicle and fled the area with no attempts to contact the RO of unit 2/victim vehicle. PCSO 24-19800752 The suspect/Soli in PCSO call was described at 6'00 tall heavy dressed in black and long dreads in his hair. That was a match to the video and also the driver was confirmed by the RO-Julia Tali, his mother. When I described who I saw in the video Julia/mom/RO confirmed that was how her son was dressed when he took the car without permission. The suspect name in the PCSO call was Soli Tali 10-5-88. A WACIC/DOL check via Dispatch revealed a DOL photo that matched the video as well. It also revealed Suspect/Soli was not licensed. Mom told me on the phone that there is no insurance on her ca r.. I watched the video provided by unit 2/victim. It showed unit 1 drift into the lawfully parked Tesla and crash into the back of it for no good reason. There did not appear to be any other obstruction causing unit 1 to crash. The driver on video looked to be at least 6'00 tall and heavy. He had on black pants and long dreads. He messed with damages plastics and body pieces on his car and drove away. The license plate was very clear in the video. The RO of unit 1/suspect vehicle returned to an address in Tacoma. I called Tacoma PD to have them check and see if unit 1 was a reported stolen. While on the phone it was discovered the address 1401 104th St E is actually in Pierce County and a call had been started as the RO/Julia was reporting he son stealing her car this morning and fleeing the area. The suspect was described and matched the video on the PCSO call. Solialofi Tali 10-5-88 did commit Hit and Run Ref RCW 46.52.020 by operating a vehicle, crashing into another vehicle and not making any attempts to contact the victim vehicle owner or provide his contact information and fleeing the area. He also did commit NVOL 2nd ref RCW 46.20.015 by operating a motor vehicle on a public roadway without having a valid/issued driver license and also ref RCW 46.30.020 operating a motor vehicle upon a public roadway without valid insurance. I cited SoliTali ref the above RCW via the Renton Prosecutors Office for Hit and Run along with the NVOL and no insurance via complaint.
