No prob Alex, see below: The Airport and Design Team requests that the City pause th e Taxiway A permitting work. We found out from the
FAA on 7/30/24 that the anticipated FY24 grant funds will not be awarded for the Phase 1 construction of the work.
It is unclear when FAA will come up with the funds to co nstruct the work. After discussions with FAA on 8/6/24,
we’re hopeful that the project will receive FY25 and FY 26 FAA grants to construct Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the work. We will continue to keep City Permitting updated on next steps and when we need to re-engage the permit work for
the project.
