All supplemental documents, that are allowed to be submitted after this date and time, shall be received at the lobby of Renton City Hall. The bids will be opened and publicly read via Zoom video-conferencing web application at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 4, 2024 September 20, 2024. The City of Renton in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. The improvement for which bids will be received is described below: The work to be performed under these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the South 7th Street Corridor Improvements. This contract provides for, but is not limited to, signing and striping of bicycle facilities, construction of new sidewalk and paths in unimproved right of way, reconstruction of curbing, gutters and paving at intersections, modification of traffic signal systems, adjustment of damaged utility lids in the roadway, aesthetic landscaping and irrigation, adjustment of stormwater management systems, temporary traffic control, property protection and restoration, and all other Work necessary to complete the Work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
