EE80700 CASE# 24-5585 OF COLLISION 05/27/24 05:28 OF CbLLI510N NARRATIVE On 05/27/24 at about 0529 hrs I was dispatched to a collision at Rainier Ave S and S Grady Way, in the City of Renton, County of King, and State of Washington. I arrived at about 0532 hrs and observed a silver Chevrolet Spark had rear ended a blue Chevrolet Equinox. The driver of Unit#2 advised she was SB on Rainier Ave S and had stopped for a red light at S Grady Way. The Chevrolet Spark rear ended her. The driver of Unit#1 tried to leave the scene in the vehicle when the driver of Unit#2 told the suspect the police were on their way. The driver of Unit#1 told the driver of Unit#2 she did not have a driver's license. When the driver of Unit#1 could not start the vehicle, she fled on foot EB on S Grady Way. The driver of Unit#2 thought the driver of Unit#1 may be drunk due to her erratic behavior. The driver of Unit#1 was described as a black female, in her late 20's to early 30's, 5'2" heavy build, hair in braids and back in a ponytail, wearing an unbuttoned blue and black plaid shirt, a white tank top underneath, with what appeared to be dried blood on the bottom of the tank top, and dark pants. Assisting units searched for the suspect in the hit and run but were unable to locate her. Both the driver and passenger for Unit#2 said they could identify the suspect. The driver of Unit #2 complained of neck and back pain from the collision, but she declined a medical screening from Renton Fire. The side curtain and front airbags had deployed in the Chevrolet Spark. I initially checked the interior of the vehicle for any possible injured passengers. The vehicle was empty. I checked the VIN on the Spark and found it was registered to a Timothy Willaims with a Renton address and a Jimmy Boyd with a Burien address on his WADL. I requested a tow for the abandoned vehicle and did an inventory search of the vehicle. On the driver's floorboard I found an empty bottle of tequila and on the passenger floorboard I found a black purse. I emptied the contents of the purse on the passenger seat and found a WAID belonging to Lundon M. Boyd 06/14/1999 with the same address as one of the registered owners Jimmy Boyd. Lundon matched the physical description provided for the suspect in the hit and run. Local records checks showed a phone number for Timothy Willaims, but it had been disconnected. A local record check on Lundon showed a number that had also been disconnected. The Spark was impounded by Gene Meyers Towing. I checked with Score Jail to see if they had a booking photograph for Lundon Boyd for a photomontage, but she had never been booked there. I checked Lundon's address of 1111 SW 148th St#4 to speak with Jimmy or Lundon. There was no answer at the door. I checked Timothy Williams address of 1100 Sunset Blvd NE C-117 but there were new residents at the address. I entered Lundon's WAID into evidence. This incident was captured on my body worn video camera. This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events. Statements have been paraphrased and summarized.
