We would like to request modifications to the residential design requirements so that we can build the house with
a more contemporary/modern style as well as incorporate a few ADA "sensitive" features that will appeal to a
demographic our research says is the likely market for this home,

Justification: We are requesting approval of window
trims that are narrower in some locations and absent in
others in order to harmonize with the modern design of
the house. We are also not putting shutters on the
windows in order to keep with the modern theme, We
are using a variety of paint colors and textures in order
to accent different architectural elements of the home
in place of trim detailing.

The requested modification must also meet the following criteria:
1. Will meet the objectives and safety, function, appearance, environmental protection and maintainability
intended by the Code requirements, based upon sound engineering judgment; and
2. Will not be injurious to other property(ies) in the vicinity; and
3. Conform to the intent and purpose of the Code; and
4. Can be shown to bejustified and required for the use and situation intended; and
5. Will not create adverse impacts to other property(ies) in the vicinity.
