EE53756 CASE# 24-2078 OF COLLISION 02/25/24 18:25 OF CbLLI510N NARRATIVE 24-2078 collision possible injury Axon: Axon body cam and car video available Narrative: On 02.25.2024 at 1825 hours, there was a 911 hang up on the SW corner of the intersection of S Grady Way and Talbot RD S. When I arrived at 1830 hours, 1 found no one at the intersection and started checking surrounding parking lots. I checked the parking lot of Triton Towers 3 which is located at 707 S Grady Way. This address is within the city limits of Renton, County of King, WA. I on the east side of the building, I found two vehicles that had recently been in a collision, and they told me they called 911. I advised both drivers and sole occupants of their respective cars that our contact was recorded. Both drivers had been on S Grady Way and were turning on Talbot Rd S. S Grady Way at this point in the road travels SW to NE and Talbot RD S travels NW to SE. This intersection has a "free" right turn lane traffic permitting on the SW corner. I spoke to Dennis Wong DOB/12.24.1971. Wong was identified by photo WADL and has a licensed DOL status. Wong was driving a white (DOL indicates black) 2012 Mazda 3 4dr Sedan WA/CCN7815. Wong is the legal and registered owner of the vehicle. Wong told me that he was on S Grady Way headed from the SW to turn on Talbot Rd S to the SE. Wong stopped for traffic and was hit from behind by a Subaru Outback driven by Mikela Mangiaracina. Wong provided his registration but told me he does not have insurance as it is expired. Wong complained of a sore neck and was treated/released by Renton Fire. Damage to his vehicle was centered on the driver's side bumper. I spoke to Mikela H Mangiaracina DOB/07.22.1996. Mangiaracina was identified by photo WADL and has a licensed DOL status. Mangiaracina was driving a blue (DOL indicates TAN) 2012 Subaru Outback WA/BUS9035. Mangiaracina is the legal and registered owner of the vehicle. Mangiaracina was on S Grady Way headed from the SW to turn on Talbot RD to the SE. Mangiaracina provided her registration and proof of insurance. Mangiaracina told me that she didn't see Wong stop (for traffic) and hit his car. Damage to her car was the front bumper/right passenger side into the front hood. I issued Mangiaracina Sector Infraction #4A0001170 for Inattention while driving. I requested the infraction be mailed by the court. I issued Wong Sector Infraction #4A0001169 for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Liability insurance. I requested the infraction be mailed by the court. Both drivers drove their respective vehicles from the location.
