Limitations: The presence of our field representative at the site is to provide our client with a source of professional advice, opinions, and recommendations based upon the field representative’s observations and testing of the contractor’s work. Our services do not include supervision or direction of the contractor, their employees, or agents. Geotechnical recommendations for obtaining project objectives may be made by our representatives; however, direction of the actual work should come from the owner or contractor, as appropriate. The contractor is responsible for complying with the contract documents at all times, regardless of the presence of our field representative. Jobsite safety, including compliance with all applicable state or federal regulations, is the sole responsibility of the contractor. The observations, recommendations, and conclusions provided in this field report are preliminary until reviewed by the ESNW project manager.
As requested by client, ESNW rep was onsite to observe work on StormTech chamber for building B.
StormTech Chamber for Build B:
While onsite ESNW rep observed the contractor continuing to work on the StormTech chamber for
building B. Contractor expressed to rep that they are laying filter fabric over the subgrade and then
placing approximately 9-inches of 11
4 clean crushed rock above the filter fabric. Contractor expressed that
they would continue to work on it through the day. See area outlined in red below as the portion being
worked on.
ESNW rep will return to observe earthwork activities, at the request of the client.

While onsite ESNW rep observed the contractor continuing to work on the StormTech chamber for building B. Contractor was observed beginning to place StormTech chamber segments on top of woven geotextile fabric. Contractor expressed they would then begin to cover the chamber segments in 1.25
clean crushed rock. See picture below of StormTech chamber being worked on. See area outlined in red below as the portion being worked on.

building B. Contractor was observed placing filter fabric on subgrade and then placing 9 inches of 11
4 inch
clean crushed rock on top of the filter fabric. See picture below of progress on Stormtech chamber.

StormTech Chamber for Building B:
While onsite ESNW rep observed the contractor continuing to work on the StormTech chamber for
building B. Contractor was observed placing the end caps to the StormTech chambers and
preparing to connect stormwater piping to the chamber system. See picture below of progress on
Stormtech chamber.
