NOTICE OF TERMINATION
Dear Mr.Nikzad:
On August 27,2024,the City of Renton (City)received e-mail correspondence from David Evans
and Associates (DEA)that included a letter from TranTech Engineering,LLC (HE)serving as
notice of acquisition of HE by DEA.This is the first notice the City received regarding the
acquisition.Section 15,Successors and Assigns,of the above referenced agreement requires
written consent of both parties for reassignment of the agreement.For the City,this involves
execution of a supplemental agreement to reassign the agreement from HE to DEA.
Since project construction is complete and the City has received a flash drive from TTE that
includes an electronic copy of all construction documentation obtained/generated/filed by HE,
the City has elected to terminate the agreement rather than execute a new supplemental
agreement.Therefore,pursuant to Section 5,Termination,this letter serves as your Notice of
Termination.This termination is effective immediately and is for the convenience of the City.
According to City records,all HE invoices received to date have been paid with the last invoice
received in June 2024 (No.2022032-16)listed as the final invoice for the project.
