THE FOLLOWING IS A LLSTING OF GENERAL NOTES THAT SHALL BE INCORPORATED IN THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL {ESG) PLAN SET ALL THE NOTES ON THE
LIST MAY NOT PERTAIN TO EVERY PRC*JECT. THE APPLICANT OR OWNER. HEREBY REFERRED TO AS APPLICANT, MAY STRIKE OUT IRRELEVANT NOTES IF NOT

BEYOND THE CLEARING LIMITS SHALL RE PERMITTED. THE CLEARING LIMITS SHALL BE MAINTAINED BY THE APPLICANTIESC SUPERVISOR FOR THE DURATION OF
CONSTRUCTION.
5. STABILIZED CONSTRIGTIDN ENTRANCES SHALL BE INSTALLED AT THE BEGINNING OF CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTAIN ED FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT
ADDITIONAL MEASURES. SUCH AS CONSTRUCTED WHEEL WASH SYSTEMS OR WASH PADS, MAY BE REQUIRED TO ENSURE THAT ALL PAVED AREAS ARE KEPT
CLEAN AND TRACK -OUT TO ROAD RIGHT OF WAY DOES NOT OCCUR FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT. IF SEDIMENT IS TRACKED OFFSITE, PUBLIC ROADS SHALL
BE CLEANED THOROUGHLY AT THE END OF EACH DAY. OR MORE FREQUENTLY DURING WET WEATHER. AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT SEDIMENT FROM ENTERING
WATERS OF THB STATE.
S. WASHOUT FROM CONCRETE TRUCKS SHALL BE PERFORMED OFF -SITE OR IN DESIGNATED CONCRETE WASHOUT AREAS ONLY. DO NOT WASH OUT CONCRETE
TRUCKS ONTO THE GROUND. OR TTJ STORM DRAINS OR OPEN DITCHES. ON -SITE DUMPING OF EXCESS CONCRETE SHALL ONLY OCCUR IN DESIGNATED CONCRETE

7 ALL REOUIRED ESC BMPS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AND IN OPERATION. PRIOR TO LAND CLEARING ANDfOR CONSTRUCTION TO PREVENT TRANSPORTATION OF
SEMM ENT TO SURFACE WATER, DRAINAGE SYSTEMS AND ADJACENT PROPERTIES. ALL ESC BMPS SHALL BE MANNTAINED IN A SATISFACTORY CONDMON UNTIL

DRAIN INLETS DOWNSLOPE ANO WITHIN 500 FEET OF A DISTURBED OR COMTRUCT10N AREA, UNLESS THE RUNOFF THAT ENTERS THE INLET WILL BE CONVEYED
TO A SEDIMENT POND OR TRAP ALL CATCH BASIN INSERTS SHALL BE PERIODICALLY INSPECTED AND REPLACED AS NECESSARY TO ENSURE FULLY FUNCTIONING
CONDITION
17 AT NO TIME SHALL SEDIMENT ACCUMULATION EXCEED 2A OF THE CAPACITY OF THE CATCH BASIN SUMP. ALL CATCH BASIN$ AND CONVEYANCE LINES SHALL BE
CLEANED PRIOR TO PAVING THE CLEANING OPERATION SHALL NOT FLM-I SEDIMENT -LADEN WATER INTO THE DOWNSTREAM SYSTEM.
18. ANY PERMANENT STORM WATER FACILITY LOCATION USED AS A TEMPORARY SETTLING RABIN SHALL BE MODIFIED WITH THE N ECESSWTY ESC BMPS AND SHALL
PROVIDE ADEQUATE STORAGE CAPACITY. IF THE TEMPORARY FAC ILITY IS TO ULTIMATELY FUNCTION AS AN INFILTRATKNN SYSTEM IN ITS PERMANENT STATE, THE
TEMPORARY FAC IL TY SHALL SE ROUGH GRADED $0 THAT THE BOTTOM AND SIDES ARE AT LEAST THREE FEET ABOVE THE FINAL GRADE OF THE PERMANENT
FACILITY.

DEMOLITION NOTES
1. DEMOLITION: IT IS THE INTENT OF THE WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT TO INCLUDE
THE DEMOLITION OF ALL EXISTING PAVING, UTILITIES AND OTHER EXISTING SITE
IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING THEIR UNDERGROUND COMPONENTS AS INDICATED BY
THIS DRAWING AND AS REQUIRED FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION. IT IS THE
CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO FULLY REVIEW THE SITE CONDITIONS AND TO
CORRELATE THESE OBSERVATIONS WITH THE PROJECT WORK AND INCLUDE ALL
NECESSARY DEMOLITION, WHETHER SHOWN OR NOT, AND INCLUDE ALL SUCH COSTS
IN THE BASE BID.
