To Whom It May Concern:
Renton Regional Fire Authority (RRFA) has reviewed the Geotechnical Report provided by GeoEngineers
dated August 5, 2022, regarding Fire Station 16 Replacement at 15815 SE 128za Street, Renton,
Washington.
We acknowledge the stated risks of the site contained in that report including:
a) Anticipation of seasonally perched ground water that may be encountered during construction in
the wet season.
b) Soils are highly moisture sensitive. Wet weather practices will be required during periods of wet
weather (October — May). If disturbed soils become wet, they may become unsuitable requiring
removal.
c) Geological hazards (steep slope, landslides, erosion, seismic and coal mine hazards) are not
present on this site.
Respectfully,
