ADDENDUM NO. 2-18 TO LAG-13-002
Between City of Renton and REACH
THIS ADDENDUM No. 2 to Lease Agreement LAG-13-002 (ADDENDUM No. 2) is effective
January 31, 2018 ("Effective Date") by and between the City of Renton (City or Owner), a
Washington municipal corporation, and Renton Ecumenical Association of Churches (REACH).
The City and REACH are referred to collectively in this Agreement as the "Parties."
WHEREAS, by this Addendum, the Parties mutually agree to amend the original and existing
Agreement, and the previous mutually agreed written Addendum No. 1-16 (collectively
referred to as Agreement) which leases the A wing of the former City of Renton jail to REACH.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual terms and covenants in this Addendum and
other good and valuable consideration, the Parties agree to the following:
SECTION 1. Section 4 Term is amended to add the following:
This Agreement shall be in full force and effect and binding upon the Parties beginning
January 30, 2013 and through January 31, 2020. Unless terminated pursuant to Section
10. Termination of the Agreement.
SECTION 2. Section 7 ( Paragraph 5) is amended to read as follows:
(5) REACH certifies that either the REACH Board President, Carlainya Sickinger, or the
REACH Executive Director, Bianca Davis-Lovelace, are legally authorized to sign this
AGREEMENT.
SECTION 3. All terms and conditions of the Agreement not amended by this Addendum 2-18
shall remain in full force and effect and are ratified and re- confirmed. To the extent any term(s)
and/ or conditions) of the Agreement conflicts with any term(s) and/ or condition(s) of this
Addendum, the term(s) and/or condition(s) of this addendum shall control.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties agree that this Addendum, once executed takes effect on
the Effective Date noted above.
