3-16.1 WATER METFRg
A. Water Meter Size
1. The minimum allowable size tar a water prefer to a single-family residence small be
5/8-inch by 3/4-inch (5/0' x 3/0") with an adapter to fit the 1-incur (1") W"i a line.
2. At orders 1-inch (I") or larger shall be the same size as the water service line.
3. The minimum allowable size bar a water prefer to a singleminily residence with
residential fire sprinkler system shall be 1-inch (1" ).

1. Water meters small be located in a level unolrstmnea area as close to the City water
main as possible and shall not entered a distance of 50 feet (50').
2. Water meters to single family residemes shall be placed in landscape ships or
behind the sidewalk and within the ROW.
