Prevention Measures: •Design Requirements: Water meter design requirements outlined in the System Plan and Construction Standards. •Installation Restrictions: Do not install meters on sidewalks. 2. New Survey 123 App: •Purpose: The app is designed for: •Adding new meters •Removing meters •Cutting and capping meters •Functionality: •Meter Details: Capture details including type, size, and location. •Location Verification: Confirm if the meter is on a sidewalk or not. •Permit Information: Record permit issue numbers. •Meter Information: Include MXU, register, and model. •Cityworks Integration: Record the work order number or request. •Documentation: Attach photos and additional notes if needed.09/18/2024 11 Water Meter Installation and Maintenance Procedures 09/18/2024 12 3.
