Any new surface parking lot with more than 14 parking stalls shall be required to comply with the parking lot landscaping requirements as outlined in RMC 4-4- 070F.6 and RMC4-4-070H4 & 5. Response: A tree island has been added to the northern row of parking. It should be noted that the proposed parking stall count is now 20 stalls, due to the addition of the landscape tree island and added landscaping around the refuse area (see comment #3). 2. A pedestrian connection from the townhome development to the south terminates at the southern boundary of the project site. This connection should be extended through the proposed parking lot to the Taco Bell entrance. Response: A pedestrian connection has been added and follows the curb on eastern edge of the parking lot. The pedestrian connection starts at the existing sidewalk and crosswalk at the south property line and extends to the proposed outdoor seating area. See attached photos for reference to the location of the sidewalk connection with the neighboring townhomes. 3. Landscaping is required around 3 sides of the refuse area per the urban design regulations (RMC 4-3-100). Response: The site plan and landscape plan have been revised for proposed landscaping around 3 sides of the refuse area. 2 of 2 If you require any additional information, please contact the project coordinator at 206- 204-7450 or via email at rdarwish@gpdgroup.com.
