HomeMy WebLinkAboutAddendum - 1Docusign Envelope ID: 87F74CAA-EEA2-4375-96CD-A54FE67D5DE4 AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR TRAINING AND INDIVIDUAL COACHING THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as January 6, 2025, is by and between the City of Renton (the "City"), a Washington municipal corporation, and Managing Dynamics LLC ("Consultant"), a Washington limited liability company. The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the "Parties." Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties. Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-23-378, dated September 28, 2023 to provide necessary services for the City with the following services and work product (referred to herein as the "Agreement"); Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to extend time for performance, and increase contract amount in order to provide training and individual coaching to city staff. NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-23-378 is amended as follows: 1.Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to add work as specified in Exhibit A-1, which is attached and incorporated herein. 2.Time of Performance: Section 3, Time of Performance, Paragraph Bis amended pursuant to the schedule(s) set forth in Exhibit A-1 . All Work shall be performed by no later than June 30, 2025. 3.Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $5,000.00 from $17,100.00 to $22,100.00, plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional compensation shall be paid based upon Work actually performed according to the rate(s) or amounts specified in Exhibit A-1 which is attached and incorporated herein. 4.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if fully set forth herein. CAG-23-378, Adden #1-25 PAGE 3 OF 3 EXHIBIT A-1 Janaki Severy submitted a proposal for Martin Pastucha Public Works Administrator. This is to support two engineers on the Public Works team through coaching to prepare them for a mediation with each other. 3 hrs. per engineer, (6 hours) 2 hrs. for mediation, 2 hrs. each for the engineer managers: (4 hrs.) 12 hours total How will the 3 hours each be used? Send the DISC: $70 each $140 total Half hour debrief the DISC. The goal is that they better understand each other’s style which can be referred to in the mediation. Half hour provides information on emotional intelligence and how to both recognized triggers in themselves and others. What they will learn is: Self-awareness, Self- Regulation, Self-motivation, empathy and building and maintaining relationships. 2 hours will be the actual preparation for the mediation. We will go over: Handling relationship guidelines Establishing ground rules Establishing mutual outcomes Review City of Renton expectations: code of conduct Create plan of support to demonstrate mediated behavior Close mediation with signed commitments Hold the 2 hour mediation 5th hour with each person after the mediation to determine how they will stay on track and a behavioral plan they can stick to for continued success. 2 hours with their managers: Go over the mediation with the manager and the person they manage. Determine how the manager can support the mediated outcome. Determine the next steps if the manager sees the behaviors returning. Hourly rate $250 12 hours X $250 $3,000 plus 2 DISCs @ $140= $3,140.00 Final Fee
