Construction Mitigation
The plan is to start the construction as soon as we obtain the approval. It will start with
the removal of the (2) fir trees, installation of the new septic system, construction of the
concrete pad, then building the main structure. The estimates of time s tate that the full
construction should be 3-4months (happy path). We hope that the start will be
3/1/2025, that would make the end of construction being 6/30/2025-7/30/2025.
Construction will be done during undocumented neighborhood hours so as not to
disrupt our neighbors. This would be 8 – 5pm each day.
There is an entrance to the south side of the current residence that has a gate and
space for the new driveway. This entrance is located on SE 151st St and SE 134th St in
Renton. Any large trucks will follow SE 151st St to SE 131st St which exits directly to
Maple Valley Hwy.
There will be a short distance between the existing road to the site of the new building.
In talking to the proposed contractors, they will be reinforcing the entry way to handle
trucks if needed to deliver materials. We will keep the construction to acceptable hours
of the neighborhood and will adjust if there are issues raised by neighbors. The plan for
material delivery is to have the trucks take the most direct route which is diagramed
above.
We are not asking to have any special hours for this project. If needed, we will always
discuss with our neighbors to ensure it is OK.
