EF58477 CASE# 25-315 OF LNa 01/10/25 08:57 F coy�isI©�ON u NARRATIVE gm/2 stopped wht/1 driver short white male fat 50-60's brown coat (light brown) CC On 1/10/2025 at about 0901 hours 1 was responded to the area of se 168th St at SE 170th PI for a hit and run crash. When I arrived I contacted the driver of unit 2 who told me he was stopped in traffic when unit 1 crashed into the back of him. He told me he got out of his car and contacted the suspect driver of unit 1. Unit 2 and a near by witness descrobed the male suspect driver as white male, short, heavy and older with a light brown jacket. They said the suspect driver did not want the police involved and when unit 2 said he was calling the police unit 1 fled the area without providing the required information/documents. Unit 2 did not complain of injury and damages did not require a tow truck. Both unit 2 and the witness provided a license plate of the suspect vehicle. Another Renton Officer went to the local address and talked with the RO of unit 1. The RO confirmed her father was driver her car and provided his name and DOB. Psomostithis, Evangelos 04-02-1942. She also confirmed her father had told her he had recenity been involved in a crash and drove away but did not make it far. She said they did not have insurance on her Oldsmobile her father was driving. A DOL pic of the suspect driver was 100% confirmed by both the witness and unit 2 driver. Based on unit 2 and the witness both seeing the suspect driver/unit 1 outside the vehicle, positivley identifing him, who remained on scene until the word police was used and fled, confirmed with his daughter he had been in a crash where he fled without providing information as well as the statement made by the suspect vehicle RO I cited unit 1 driver Evangelos ref RCW 46.52.020 Hit and Run attended via the Renton Prosecutors office.
