Unless otherwise noted,the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, WA.
On 02-02-2025 at approximately 1846 hours I was dispatched to a collision, unrelated to this case report, at
the intersection of Edmonds Ave NE/NE 4th St. It should be noted that during this time significant snow had
fallen and roads were becoming icy. I arrived at approximately 1852 hours.
I contacted Declan, who was involved in the collision. While speaking to Declan, he pointed to unit 2 which
was just south of the intersection and stated he witnessed the vehicle was struck during his time on scene. He
and another passerby described the suspect vehicle as a "semi-truck"that was traveling northbound on
Edmonds Ave NE before the impact had fled the scene.
Unit 2 was parked on the east side of Edmonds Ave NE unoccupied and facing northbound. It was clearly
shifted out of its original parking spot, and I noticed debris consistent with the rear of the vehicle and noticed
damage. Unit 2 was blocking Edmonds Ave NE post the impact and it was towed by Gene Meyer Towing. Unit
2 was pushed into unit 3 that was parked just north of unit 2 and unoccupied. I did not notice damage to unit 3
and therefore did not formally list it in this case report. I photographed the scene and uploaded the images to
evidence.com. Paperwork was also completed documenting the tow for unit 2.
1 was unable to find a local address for Mallory or a phone number and was not able to contact her at the time
of writing this report. I have no further information.
During this incident I was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video. Portions of
