CASE 25-636
This incident was NOT captured on my body worn video camera and/or in-car dash camera. This report is a
summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
On Sunday January 19th, 2025, at approximately 20:31, 1 was dispatched to a 911 phone report regarding a hit
and run collision that occurred in the 400 block of Sunset Blvd North within the City of Renton, King County,
Washington.
Unit two was traveling north on Sunset Blvd North in the right line. Unit one pulled out into traffic from
Buddy's Recreational Marijuana located at 420 Sunset Blvd N cutting off unit two. Unit crashed into the back
of unit one. Unit one did not stop and fled the scene north on Sunset Blvd North.
Unit one is described as a black sedan unknown make, model, or license plate. Unit two driver did not see unit
one driver and would not be able to identify them. Unit two sustained minor damage to the front pumper but
was able to drive.
I checked with Buddy's to see if the incident was captured on their video cameras but was informed, I would
need a warrant to access the footage.
This concludes my involvement in this case.
