Narrative
On 1/20/2025 at about 1030 hours, I was dispatched by phone to an unattended hit and run that
occurred in the 2600 block of Sunset Ln NE, in the City of Renton, King County, WA.
I called and spoke to the reporting party James Meedham (DOB 9/4/91) who advised me that he
parked his vehicle at the above location at 1500 on 1/17/2025. Then on 1/20/2025 he came out to
his vehicle at about 0400 hrs and found that another vehicle had collided with it. There was damage
to the front and rear door on the driver's side of the vehicle and he saw fragments of a taillight on
the ground next to the vehicle.
The street where James parked his vehicle is the street that surrounds the Sunset Neighborhood
Park. He stated that he saw surveillance cameras at the park. I was unable to access those cameras at
this time.
