DR Strong Consulting Engineers Inc. 620 7th Ave Kirkland, WA 98033 SUBJECT: "On Hold" Notice Cedar at the Highlands, LUA17-000189 Dear Mr. Piediscalzi: The Planning Division of the City of Renton accepted the above master application for review on April 25, 2017. The application was put on hold on May 10, 2017 and taken off hold on August 2, 2017. The submitted Critical Areas Study (prepared by Sewall Wetland Consulting, Inc, dated March 28th, 2017) did not adequately address the wetlands located to the north of the project site on parcel #1457500106. These wetlands were identified in a wetlands report completed by the same consultant in 2013 as part of the submittal for Mindy’s Place Short Plat, but were not identified in the Critical Areas Study submitted for the subject project. Therefore, staff has determined that additional information is necessary in order to evaluate potential impacts to the wetlands. The following information will need to be submitted before November 17, 2017 so that we may continue the review of the above subject application: 1. A wetlands assessment shall be submitted for the wetlands located on the adjacent parcel to the north (Parcel #1457500106, also known as “Mindy’s Place Plat”). At a minimum, this assessment shall include the categorization and delineation of the wetlands. At this time, your project has been placed “on hold” pending receipt of the requested information.
