CASE 25-610
This incident was NOT captured on my body worn video camera and/or in-car dash camera. This report is a
summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
On Saturday January 18th, 2025, at approximately 21:01, 1 was dispatched to a 911 phone report regarding a
hit and run collision that occurred in the 400 block of Sunset Blvd North within the City of Renton, King
County,Washington.
Unit two was traveling south on Sunset Blvd North. Unit one was traveling north on Sunset Blvd North
attempting to make a U-turn in the designated turn around lane just south of the 1405 over pass. Unit one
pulled too far forward in the lane south bound lane of travel hitting unit two. Unit one did not stop and fled
the scene south on Sunset Blvd North.
Unit two driver followed unit one and was able to get the license plate of unit one (CBP1187). Unit two
sustained damage to the driver side but was drivable.There were no injuries reported and unit two driver
would not be able to identify the driver of unit one.
I ran record check on unit one and learned it was registered to Rainier WA.
This concludes my involvement in this case.
