On February 2, 2025 at approximately 1441 hours I was working uniformed patrol in my fully marked
patrol vehicle when I dispatched myself to a hit and run that occurred the day prior at VMC, in the
City of Renton, County of King, and State of Washington.
I called the reporting party who advised me that he parked his vehicle in the parking garage of VMC.
He was unsure which garage it was by the lettering system that they have but he advised that it was
the lower garage next to the emergency department.
He went there to get some stiches removed and when he went back to his vehicle, he noticed some
damage to the driver's side of the vehicle. He did not believe that the damage was there prior.
He has no idea who hit his vehicle. He was not in his vehicle when it was hit. The damage was minor
and he did not need a tow.
No suspect information at this time.
