On February 3, 2025 at approximately 0746 hours I was working uniformed patrol in my fully marked
patrol vehicle when I dispatched myself to a collision that occurred at SE 186th PI and 110th PI SE, in
the City of Renton, County of King, and State of Washington.
Upon my arrival, I contacted one of the involved parties, lusitno Garcia, who advised me of the
following information. He was driving (unit 1) down the hill on 110th PI SE when the trailer that he
was towing, started to slide sideways. The roads this day were incredibly icy and slick due to recent
snow and frezzing temperatures. The trailer slide to the side of the road and the trailer collided with
unit 2. Unit 2 was parked on the side of the street and was unoccupied.
I later contacted the owner of unit 2 and notified him of the collision. I provided them both with a
copy of the collision report via email.
No suspect information at this time.
