EF64015 CASE# 25-1142 FC LNaoy L isI©�ON O 02/04/25 20:27 F cu NARRATIVE During this incident, I was equipped with a body-worn camera, which records both audio and video. Portions of this incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured with the recording system. I was operating a fully marked Police Tahoe #320 which was equipped with overhead emergency lights and sirens. Case Number 25-1142 On 02/04/2025 at approximately 2028 hours, I was dispatched to a collision with injuries in about the 4100 block of Lind Ave SW, within the City of Renton, King County, Washington. I identified unit 1 in this collision as a 2007 Lexus LS (WA/Lic: CRB6223 Vin# JTHBL46FX75040813). The driver and sole occupant of unit 1 was identified as Wario M Abdullahi (DOB 04/25/1991) by his WADOL photo. Wario advised dispatch that he had back pain and "demanded help now". When we arrived on scene the fire department advised Officer Petty that Wario declined aid and appeared uninjured. When I asked Wario if he had any injuries he told me his back hurt and he was going to drive himself to the hospital. Wario seemed to have difficulty explaining exactly what occurred and was not very cooperative in explaining his side of the collision. I asked Wario to step out of the vehicle to point out exactly what happened, but he just continued to report that the other vehicle was speeding. When I asked for insurance Wario said something about bringing it later, then advised me he did not have any proof of insurance. It was unclear if he just did not have the cards or if he does not have insurance for his vehicle. Unit 1 sustained damage to the rear bumper causing it to be dragging on the ground. Nothing seemed mechanically wrong with unit 1 and he was already in the parking lot of Ikea when I arrived, so his vehicle was not towed. Eventually Wario was able to explain that he was traveling northbound on Lind Ave SW and turned left into Ikea when the collision occurred. Wario was unable to provide much more detail into how the collision occurred. Unit 2 was identified as a 2008 Honda Civic (WA/Lic: BMF3219 Vin# 1 HGFA165681_114810). The driver and sole occupant of unit 2 was identified as Minh H Nguyen (DOB 09/06/1980). Minh had no injuries and unit 2 sustained minor damage to the front bumper. Through language line Minh advised Officer Petty that she was traveling southbound in about the 4100 block of Lind Ave SW at the time of the collision. Minh seemed confused as to if unit 1 was turning left into the parking lot or making a U- turn. Based on the stories from each party I am led to believe unit 1 failed to yield to unit 2 when making a left turn and that was the proximate cause of this collision.
