Officer Narrative
Narrative
On 02/07/2025 at approximately 1735 hours within the city of Renton, King County, state of Washington, I
arrived at a collision that occurred at the intersection of 108th Ave SE and SE Petrovitsky Rd.The involved
vehicles moved to a nearby business complex.
Upon arrival, I observed Vehicle 2 with damage to both front and rear right passenger doors. I observed
Vehicle 1 with front-end damage.
I proceeded to interview Driver 2. In summary, Driver 2 was turning left (southbound)from SE Petrovitsky RD
onto 108th Ave SE. Driver 2 reported that he had the green light. While Driver 2 was turning left,Vehicle 1
drove eastbound through the intersection and collided with Vehicle 2's right passenger side.
I proceeded to interview Driver 1. In summary, Driver 1 was driving eastbound on SE Petrovitsky RD in lane 1.
Driver 1 was distracted and did not realize that she had a red light. Driver 1 continued driving eastbound
through the intersection and collided with Vehicle 2.Vehicle 1 had a juvenile passenger that corroborated a
similar narrative.
All involved parties were uninjured, and all involved vehicles were ultimately drivable.The parties had already
exchanged information prior to me arriving. I provided the parties with my business card and the case number
if they wished to follow-up at a later time.
For note, Driver 1 and Driver 2 advised that there was a witness that had already left prior to my arrival. Driver
1 and Driver 2 advised that the witness potentially had dashcam footage.The involved parties had retrieved
the witness's phone number for follow-up. I advised Driver 1 and Driver 2 to provide the witness with my
email so that they could send the footage. I will upload a supplemental report if and when the footage is
submitted.
