On 02/08/2025 at approximately 2010 hours, I was working as a Police Officer for the City of Renton. While
working I was dispatched to a non-injury hit and run collision at 200 S 2nd ST, in the City of Renton, King
County, Washington.
The notes of the call stated that the reporting party was struck two minutes prior, and their vehicle was
disabled.
I arrived on scene and located the victim vehicle, a black 2016 Jeep Cherokee WA LIC: CNS0684.The driver of
the vehicle was identified as William Jimerson (DOB: 08/16/1968),the passenger was identified as Leticia
Campos-Montes (DOB: 12/11/1976). 1 observed William had minor damage to his driver's side front bumper.
The bumper was dented against the driver's side front tire, preventing the vehicle from moving.
William reported that he was driving westbound on S 2nd ST in the left most lane. William attempted to make
a left turn into the Safeway parking lot and was struck by a vehicle traveling behind him.The vehicle pulled
into the Safeway parking lot and a male subject exited the vehicle. William notified the man that he struck his
vehicle and needed to call the police,the male got back into his vehicle and fled southbound through the
parking lot.
William described the vehicle as an older black sedan, possibly a Chevy. William described the suspect as a
Hispanic male in his 30s, approximately 5'8-5'10 with a medium build. William believes that he would be able
to identify the suspect if seen again and would like pursue charges for hit and run.
