On 2/9/2025 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for the
City of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run collision which had occurred prior near the
intersection of NE Sunset Blvd and Whitman Ct NE Renton/King/WA. Edlin B Agulto DOB: 2/19/1975
was calling to report that someone had hit his white 2013 Chevrolet Cruze WA/BLP7859 which had
been parked on Whitman Ct NE.
I called Edlin per his request and he said that on 2/2/2025 around 2323 hours his video surveillance
captured a white 1999 Dodge Dakota WA/C76328Z attempted to turn around on Whitman Ct NE. He
said that while the Dakota was turning around it backed into the driver side door of his Cruze causing
minor damage. Edlin said that the vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the collision. Edlin said he
would not be able to identify the driver if located.
Edlin sent me Ring surveillance footage via Axon of the collision, it showed a white Dodge Dakota
trying to drive on snow covered roads. The Dodge was having obvious trouble and appeared stuck.
After several moments of trying, the truck backed up and collided with the Cruze that was parked on
the street. The Dakota then drives away from the scene. I was not able to see a driver or make out the
license plate in the video.
I searched the plate provided by Edlin and it showed as registered to a "Run It Up Lyfestyle Company
LLC" to a Seattle address. The plate was run in a traffic stop on 11/26/2024 by Renton PD but no
name was run or logged in the call.
Nothing further.
