25-1321
Unless otherwise noted, the following took place within the city limits of Renton, County of King, WA.
On 02/10/2025 at approximately 1819 hours, I was dispatched to a hit and run collision at the
intersection of E Valley Rd. /SW 43rd St. Dispatch advised "2 AGO, ACCHR, GOA" and "**FONE**
SUSP GOA EB ON S CARR ROAD, RP NO LONGER AT LOC".
I contacted the reporting party, identified as Christopher C. Dotson (10/21/1989), via phone and
gathered the following:
He was leaving Fortune Poker(3650 E Valley Rd.) and proceeded southbound on E Valley Rd.
Christopher was preparing to turn left onto SW 43rd St and was in the left turn lane. Christopher
advised he had his reverse camera on and observed a vehicle slowly approach his vehicle, also in the
left turn lane. Christopher continued watching and observed the vehicle nearly come to a stop short of
his vehicle, and then the suspect vehicle appeared to lightly step on the gas and strike the rear end of
Christopher's vehicle.
Christopher exited his vehicle to try and contact the suspect vehicle advised he motioned for them to
meet him at the gas station (Shell Gas Station on the SE corner of the intersection).
Instead, Christopher advised the driver of the suspect vehicle sat for a moment and then pulled
around Christopher's vehicle and continued eastbound on SW 43rd St. Christopher returned to his
vehicle and attempted to follow the suspect vehicle, but he said they disappeared down a dark road
near the Valley Medical Center. Due to the circumstances, I am led to believe the suspect vehicle
traveled southbound on Davis Ave S.
Christopher advised he was unable to see the driver, or if anyone else was inside the vehicle.
Christopher did however take a photo of the license plate (WA/CPR0585).
The plate returns to a 2024 Honda Civic, registered to Girma D. Erana.
I sent Christopher an Axon Citizen Link to upload photos of the damage to his vehicle, but he advised
he will do it in the daytime when he can see the damage. I also provided Christopher a copy of the
case number and advised him to contact Renton PD if he has information to share or follow-up
questions.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

Due to Christopher not being able to see the extent of the damage, I am unable to place value on
damages caused by the suspect.
If the driver of the suspect vehicle can be identified, there is probable cause for their arrest for Hit and
Run Attended (RCW 46.52.020) due to them striking the victims car and fleeing the scene without
contacting the victim.
