NOTICE OF APPLICATION
A Master Application has been filed and accepted with the Department of Community & Economic Development
(CED) - Planning Division of the City of Renton. The following briefly describes the application and the necessary
Public Approvals.
DATE OF NOTICE OF APPLICATION: June 2, 2017
PROJECT NAME/NUMBER: Beneficial Reuse of Clean Dredged Sediments / LUA17-000337, TP
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant has requested a Temporary Use Permit to stockpile up to 4,000
cubic yards of clean sediments dredged from Eagle Cove (permitted under LUA16-000977) and using a portion of the
sediment to stabilize and improve the existing access road network located at 4503 Lake Washington Boulevard North
(also known as Quendall Terminals) for a duration of 5 years. Reuse of the stockpile for capping is expected within several
years, but the specific time line is not yet known. The subject site is zoned COR and is approximately 22 acres. The proposed
stockpile would be located in the southeast corner of the site over 200 feet from the shoreline if Lake Washington and 25
feet from the south property boundary. Dredge sediment would be brought to the site by barge then trucked overland
to the stockpile location. No trees are proposed to be removed. The site is located within Reach C of Lake Washington, a
shoreline of the state, wetlands are located on the project site and it is located within a seismic hazard area.

automatically become a party of record and will be notified of any decision on this project.
