On February 11, 2025, at 1317 hours dispatch requested that I respond to a collision at hit and run collision
that occurred at 400 S 43rd St, in the city of Renton, county of King, and state of Washington.The reporting
party, later identified as Terri Williams (08/14/1958), reported that another vehicle struck her while leaving
VMC.The vehicle was described as a white colored SUV bearing Washington plates CKE1077.The driver was
identified as a black male in his 40's or 50's wearing a black beanie.The vehicle fled the scene prior to police
arrival.
Upon contact,Terri explained she was exiting the VMC property by using the underground bypass on the
southside of the property. As she faced eastbound on the bypass, Unit 1 entered the bypass from Davis Ave S.
As the Unit 1 made the right turn into the bypass,they made a wide turn and struck Unit 2 as it sat at the stop
sign. Unit 1 sustained minor damage to its wheel, but unit 2 sustained moderate damage on the rear driver's
side quarter panel.
Both drivers agreed to exchange information in the VMC parking lot, but Unit 1 fled the scene by going
westbound on Carr Rd.Terri did not follow and she cannot describe the make or model of Unit 1.Terri was
able to remember Unit 1's license plate (WA/CKE1077).
I ran unit 1's information through WACIC/NCIC and the vehicle appears to be an unknown-colored Cadillac
Escalade.
I provided Terri with my case number and contact information.
