On March 7th, 2024, at 1644 hours dispatch requested that I respond to a hit and run collision that
occurred at 920 N 10th St, in the city of Renton, county of King, and state of Washington.The reporting
party, later identified by her WADL as Emani A. Dillon (01/19/2006), reported that a Kia Soul bearing
Washington plates CJL9613 rolled forward and struck her vehicle.The driver of the vehicle refused to
exchange information and fled southbound on Park Ave N.
Upon contact, Emani explained that she was parked in front of the Exit Korean BBQ, near the
roundabout.The Kia Soul was parked across, near the cinemas. The Kia was unoccupied at the time of
the collision and she said that the driver left the vehicle in neutral.The vehicle rolled forward and struck
Emani's Toyota Corolla.The Kia caused minor damage to the rear driver's side door of Emani.
While Emani inspected the damage,the driver of the other Kia arrived. Emani tried to communicate with
the driver, but he refused to cooperate. The driver of the vehicle was described as a white male in his
30's wearing dark clothing.The male had a strong accent, but he spoke briefly, entered his vehicle and
Left the location.
Emani said she did not want to pursue criminal charges, so I provided Emani with my contact information
and case number.
