On September 25th,2024, at 1657 hours dispatch requested that I contact the victim of a hit and run
collision that occurred at the intersection Benson Dr S and S Puget Dr, in the city of Renton, county of
King, and state of Washington.The reporting party, later identified by her WADS as Nathaniel J. Herzog
(09/06/1992), reported that an unknown vehicle struck his vehicle and fled without leaving any contact
information.
Upon contact, Nathaniel explained that he was traveling eastbound on S Puget Dr.As he approached the
intersection of Benson Dr S, a gray Toyota Rav4 traveling beside him swerved and struck his rear driver's
side door.The Toyota Rav4(unknown plate)failed to come to a complete stop to exchange information,
and instead fled eastbound on S Puget Dr.
Nathaniel's vehicle was identified as a 2008 Honda Accord bearing Washington plates BQX2355.
Nathaniel did not see the driver, and there is no further information on the suspect vehicle, so I provided
Nathaniel with my contact information and case number.
There are no cameras or witnesses who saw this incident.This case is closed.
